How to create  2 Week look ahead schedule in P6 ?

1. Activity shouldn’t be completed – Normally, completed activities are not shown on the look ahead schedule since it has less significance in forecast.
 
2. Start date of the activity should be within the range of 2 weeks from the Data date. (Data date is the current date or the last updated date of the schedule)
 
3. Finish date of the activity should be within the range of 2 weeks from the Data date.
 
4. Activity should be in progress.

 

 

Run a filter :

Select ANY of he following 

Where      Parameter       Is                         Low Vaule                    High Vlaue

                Start        is within range of         DD or (DD-1W)              DD+2W

OR          Activity staus   equals                   In Progress

that will get you what you want., since this is using the DD and the DD+2W for plus 2 weeks you do not have to change this everytime.

3rd point is not included in most of the cases, only Start is considered.
and also include the filter for activities which are not started, listed in the global filter.
